Seller's Scoop
View: The den and the office have beautiful long range mountain views that mesmerize constantly. Especially stunning are the gorgeous sun sets behind Mt. Pisgah.
Room: Den, office and front porch for the views not only of the mountains, but of the entire neighborhood.
Tree: The flame thrower red bud and the Japanese maple are my favorite trees in the yard, probably because I planted them. This community is nestled in hundreds of towering trees and provide thick forest up the hillsides. Wonderful privacy.
Walk: South Creek Cottages across the road to Fox Glen community provides for a couple of miles of roads/paths and a large open field for play. Our favorite is to drive to Bill Moore (Fletcher) park and enjoy the trails through the trees and along the creek.
Hike: The Blue Ridge Parkway is only 20 minutes away and offers so many wonderful hikes. A favorite is the NC Arboretum with its gorgeous plant life, creek side trails and gravel roads. And the waterfall hikes in Dupont State Forest.
Breakfast: Fletcher Village Bakery and Cafe hands down is my favorite for breakfast. Joeys NY Bagels is also a great place.
Lunch: Blue Sky Cafe - always great food! And again, Fletcher Village Bakery and Cafe offers great lunch options as well.
Dinner: Binions in Hendersonville is our favorite; Nine-Mile at Biltmore Park; Sierra Nevada; you really can't go wrong between Hendersonville and Asheville; being nestled in the middle of them is the best of both worlds. So many great options.
Pub/Winery: The Auction House just down the road is a great food hall and gathering place; Sierra Nevada, Highland and Appalachian Mountain Brewery are our favorite breweries (but there are so many craft breweries we have yet to scratch the surface).
