The Four-Step Building Process
Planning a home renovation or improvement?
We’ve got a simple four-step process to walk you through what to expect.
STEP 1: LET’S MEET
In the initial meeting and planning stage, you talk and we listen. We will come to you and spend time in your space or on your job site. It may be helpful to be prepared with inspiration you have seen and liked to give us a sense of your style. We will review your preferences and lifestyle needs to bring clarity to your vision. We can discuss a suitable budget and the design team you choose will begin to visually develop your space.
STEP 2: DESIGN TIME
During this step, you will work with your architect and design team or we can recommend one for you who will create customized schematics, floor plans and elevations based on your ideas. You’ll also make choices on interior finishes- this is the fun part, and our design team is happy to help! We want to make sure you're comfortable with all of the details as the final construction drawings and a building timeline are created.
STEP 3: FINAL REVIEW
During your final review, details are finalized and we’ll present you with a quality proposal and price quotation. We will answer any and all questions you have and make changes where necessary. Remember this is your home so there’s no such thing as too many questions! We'll make sure we have your full approval before we move forward; we can even submit documents to your lender if you'd like.
STEP 4: LET’S BUILD
The building process begins! We pull all necessary permits and provide detailed instructions on how to prepare your space and what to expect. You're informed constantly on progress with photos and on-site meetings. We want your feedback every step of the way! Soon your project will be complete—on time and on budget.
